Political candidates are smearing each other with crap, there is bullying, suicides, gay bashing by so called professionals, PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!!
I never taught my children to be mean to anyone. You catch more flies with sugar than vinegar.
What did you teach your children? If you are in the same league as me and your friends are in the same league as you, WHERE are these kids learning this stuff?
Oh okay, umm let them watch some of the politicians on tv, every damn 30 seconds. Wow, we are supposed to look up to them and have them run our city, county, state, country? HELLO!? Knock knock knock... anyone in there, anyone out there?
Let them listen to a teacher bash gays... what? You.. you know who you are? Keep your opinions to yourself!! You are there to teach whatever subject you got hired for, NOT to teach your personal views on what is right or wrong about humanity and God... it's NOT YOUR RIGHT!
One of my favorite movie lines "no matter what, be nice". So I ask you nicely, let's all play together. You don't have to like what I like, that's cool, different strokes for different folks, but I do think we should always be kind to one another even if we have to make an extra effort to do so.

GO PURPLE - GIVE A DAMN
Everyone wear your purple today! Show the world that you give a damn and that everyone's life is worth living!! SUICIDE is not the answer to bullying. Don't have someone to talk to? Come to me! I will listen and I know many people who will love you for YOU!
People are people doesn't matter your gender, your sexual preference, your color, your religion, you are a human being and should be accepted as one NO MATTER WHAT! For anyone who believes differently, how can you believe in God and not love all people? Hypocrite I say!

Clouds over the U.S.
I think this country needs to stand up and face its shame. How in the land of the free and the home of the brave can anyone, male or female who served this country be HOMELESS!! It's a disgrace! Why are our military families on FOOD STAMPS? These people deserve better. We feed illegal aliens, house them, provide medical care and send money to other countries, where's the sense? WAKE UP! As much as I love being an American there are days when I am embarrassed.
Wow, that left me winded just thinking about it.
Now, get this, there is a little girl dying, her neighbors who have been feuding with the family for years are tormenting this little girl with gruesome photos and acts against the family etc. WHAT? Where do these people come from? I must say, I for one, do not understand. The world is made up of all sorts of people but why do they have to be bad people? Who peed in the gene pool?
We tried a new thing this past week while working on a home project.... a bagster! check it out at www.thebagster.com
I was happy that it all worked just as it was supposed to, what are the chances?
Here is a little anecdote to make you smile. When my son Eli was about 10 we were at the grocery store, in the meat department when he sullenly walked up to me and announced in a sad voice "Mom, they sell dog bones here." I walked over to see what he was talking about and kindly had to explain they were bones FOR dogs, not the bones OF dogs." Gotta love the kids!!
I am a daughter.

It really is cloudy today but only in the sky
Friday, just another day in paradise? Well why not?! I guess it can be whatever kind of a day I want it to be. As long as the coffee is hot and facebook has no major friends issues... yeah right. Seems every day someone has a problem they want to share with the world. Someone said "this is facebook. not your diary". Well most treat it like that which is fine, as long as its not too personal. I mean I don't want to know TMI. I have blocked so many people because I really don't want to hear their daily rants, about stupid things and no offense to anyone but I block people who quote scripture daily. I don't have any thing against religion I just don't care to read it on a daily basis. To each his own, I suppose. Everyone believes what they want, doesn't much matter what anyone else says. I do wish there was a way to get more people to see it my way... okay only kidding, but it would make my life simpler.
Is it really sad that FB is my link to the outside world? Yeah I do stay home a lot, probably more than I should, but I enjoy my little haven. I tried My Space but it got boring, I even tried Twitter, but cannot seem to get the hang of it. Not sure I want to be a tweeter. =) I have my online friends who I love like sisters ...yo yo sisters, you know who you are.
Wonder what newsworthy story the media will focus on today?
Oh darn, there it is Bill O'Reilly on The View yesterday saying Muslims killed all those people on 9-11, how closed minded can one person be? How can you blame a whole religion for the tyranny of a few?
No cost of living increase for Social Security or Military Retirees this year... yet I bet there are a lot of wage increases for government officials, and many $3oo hammers. Maybe we can use those hammers to beat some sense into these people who run this country, or as usual we can just keep beating our head against the wall, why? if for no other reason, because it feels so good when you stop.

First Cloudy Blog on a Sunny Day
Clearly my good judgement is clouded, by what? Maybe facebook? the news? youtube! So, today on youtube there is video going around of pained kids and teens literally freaked out over the San Diego Chargers loss to the Raiders. As my neighbor and good friend pointed out, its a game kids... get over it. How ever will you handle life?
Then on facebook is the on going argument for legalizing marijuana... why not? The people that are going to smoke it are going to do it whether or not its legal, I say let the state tax it and get out of the hole they have dug for themselves over the last ... well was going to say few years but I imagine its been a lot more than that.
On that note, I think they should let a mom who has a bunch of kids and has had to live on a strict budget run this state, she is one who knows how to make ends meet with no waste, she will cut the waste, because she knows the value of what is needed and what is not. Come on now, who is reading the fine print in all this mess ?
On a good and happy note: The 33 Chilean miners are free!! The people who rescued them are to be commended for the hours and hours of work put into the rescue and the President of Chile stood by and hugged each and everyone who came to the surface. I would shake hands with that man. So, I was thinking wow, so much effort, technology and science went into constructing the method they used to get them out of their dark dungeon 2,000 feet below the earths surface. I think those people are the ones that should have been in charge of capping the darned oil spill in the gulf. They worked fast and furious and saved those men. And did anyone really care who greeted that one miner? Oh I guess it was big news that his mistress was there and not his wife. Please... give it a rest MEDIA.
